Reid is 4 months old! We are having the best time watching our little guy evolve everyday. He laughs, smiles and squeals in delight, and it's the greatest sound on the earth. He is definitely a Tucker with his ability to babble non-stop. Picking him up from his crib each morning with his giant smile makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
Here are some 4 month highlights:
Body:
- 14 lbs, 11 ounces (75 percentile)
- 25 inches long
- Eczema on his face, legs, and belly. Humph. The current thought is that Reid may have a milk allergy, so I have eliminated all dairy from my diet, as well as caffeine to see if this clears up his skin.
- Horrible, smelly, explosive, disgusting poops. Fun fun! This may be the allergy again, but we still don't have a definite answer. The doctor has tested 2 different stool samples (that was a real treat collecting the watery poop from the diaper, ha) to check his white blood count, and the standard gastro panel. The results came back negative, so its still a mystery. He has been on a probiotic for 4 days now, so keep your fingers crossed this may work.
Favorite Things:
- His fist still rules his world. Its in his mouth 99% of the day.
- His Taggies blankie - it goes in the swing, car, stroller, and all around the house. I should really buy a back up.
- Singing Wheels on the Bus
- Chillin' in the Bjorn strapped to Mark while he works around the house.
- Splashing in the bath tub and singing rub a dub dub.
- Pulling his pacifier from his mouth and holding it out in front of his face in amazement.
- Trying to put the pacifier back in his mouth, ha. He has succeeded a few times.
- Not sleeping! This one requires a whole separate blog post when I have a little more sanity and another 7 hours to update the blog. We have a feisty one folks.
Fun Milestones:
- Half way rolling over - he is so close to rolling on his own.
- Sitting in his Bumbo, holding his head so strong.
- He recognizes Mark and I when we walk in the room. Super cool.

I love this age. Reid is so adorable. Hope the allergy mystery milk diliema works out soon. Bet that will help with sleep--maybe???
